ABC’s election commentary ‘propaganda’ paid for by taxpayers: Kenny

Sky News host Chris Kenny says it's hard to pick the comedy shows from the serious ones with the ABC after its predictable attacks on the Coalition following Labor's "worst day of campaigning" in living memory.

"On the 7:30 program last night, instead of dissecting this act of self-harm from Albanese, Laura Tingle and Leigh Sales gave us a jaundiced piece about Scott Morrison's period as Prime Minister," Mr Kenny said.

"There was no mention of how the nation has weathered the pandemic better than any other nation, no mention of tax cuts and restored border security, no mention of standing up to China.

"Just a collection of twitter level attacks on character grounds and trying to make the prime minister a scapegoat for bushfires, pandemic problems and even floods.

"They are as predictable as they are dishonest – it's propaganda paid for by you, paid for by taxpayers."
