Aerial Footage Shows Virginia Forest Fire ‘Crowning’ in Roanoke County


Firefighters in Virginia successfully contained a forest fire on the morning of March 30 after Roanoke County Fire & Rescue Department said they worked through the night to battle the flames. Officials said the blaze reached 67 acres on March 30, with around 80 personnel at the scene at the height of the fire yesterday. No injuries were sustained during the fire, according to officials, and no structures were threatened.
