Anthony Albanese facing ‘two-pronged attack’ on economy, national security

Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says the government has been turning everything from Question Time into attacks on Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese.

Mr Clennell described it as a “two-pronged attack” on the economy and national security by Defence Minister Peter Dutton and Treasurer Josh Frydenberg.

“Seems to come a little bit easier to Peter Dutton, I’ve got to say, being the attack dog,” he said.

“But both of them doing a reasonable job and it’s an approach perhaps arguable the government should’ve taken up months ago.

“They’ve done better in the last five days or so of Question Time than they have for months.”
