Clubs encouraged to make use of sponsored kit programme
12 May 2022 – In a move set to galvanise South African grassroots football, Inqaku is sponsoring 200 MYSAFA-registered football teams across South Africa with free kit. With over half of the customised 15-player kits still up for grabs, clubs across South Africa are encouraged to take advantage of this unique opportunity to obtain premium-quality, sponsored kit.
So far a number of clubs from various LFAs around the
country have received the kit. Clubs can choose from 20 style & colour combinations, while

His excitement was shared by Sifiso Chonco, owner of Blue
Army FC, affiliated at Thokoza LFA in Gauteng.
“After we wore our Inqaku kit for the first time, I was
getting calls the whole weekend from other teams wanting to know how they can
also get the kit,’’ said Chonco.
Inqaku is a licensed FSP and SAFA’s partner for the
development and support of MYSAFA — South Africa’s only FIFA-integrated
football player registration platform. Because of SAFA and Inqaku, 2% of
players worldwide that have a FIFA ID are South Africans.
In addition, whenever a club refers an Inqaku Funeral Policy
sale, the club earns an amount equal to 10% of the premium – every month. Clubs can use these rewards
to pay for equipment, kit, FIFA-certified player registrations and
Mncedi Lali, Team Manager at United Brothers FC, affiliated at Sundays River LFA in the Eastern Cape, was also an early adopter of the Inqaku kit giveaway promotion.
“Inqaku has taken our football to the next level and I encourage other clubs to make use of this programme. The free kit we received has brought smiles and hope to our community. Looking ahead, we really like the idea of using the rewards from Inqaku policy referrals to purchase club-branded merchandise that we can sell to our supporters to generate real cash,’’ said Lali.
Inqaku COO, Jason Anderson said MYSAFA project was an
ambitious programme whose ultimate goal is to make South African football more
competitive on the international stage.
“Our aim is to see South Africa and Africa do well in major
international competitions and ultimately win a FIFA World Cup,’’ said
Anderson. “To achieve that, our players must be prepared from grassroots level.
We must find ways to drive money to clubs campaigning at the local and regional
level. That is where our FIFA World Cup-winning side will come from and that’s
where our focus lies.”
