Liberal candidate for Strathfield’s ‘purpose’ is to ‘give back and to serve’ the community

Liberal candidate for Strathfield Bridget Sakr says she is “campaigning to win” the by-election currently taking place in the electorate so she can “serve the community” who helped her and her family during difficult times.

She said constituents are “looking for hope” and to stay open in the current coronavirus environment.

“What I’ve come to realise is that a lot of services and a lot of grants are available for the local businesses that they’re not aware of,” Ms Sakr told Sky News Australia.

“And I want to be that community representative that can connect them with those services and help them so they can thrive, and they can stay open and be successful.”
