Liberal Democrats candidate for Wentworth Daniel Lewkovitz says he is contesting the seat to be part of a “genuine third alternative” to Labor and the Liberal Party.
“Both major parties have become indistinguishable from each other,” he told Sky News Australia.
“I don’t want to grow up in a world where the population are dictated to by politicians – it should be the other way round.
“That’s the future that I want and that’s why I want to be a part of this system.”
