This week’s selection is about as balanced as we’ve seen so far, featuring collaborations, luxury brands, and good, old outdoor sneakers (with a twist).
adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 “High-Res Red”
Why You Should Cop: Kanye West is taking a departure from his oft-used nature-reminiscent tones and going for a bolder and brighter ensemble with his upcoming adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 “Hi-Res Red.” The titular tone takes the charge here by covering a majority of the base layer while neutral accents of black and gray drop onto the mudguards and toe boxes. From there, vivid blasts of orange and teal insert themselves into the midsole units for extra flair to make this one of Ye’s wildest installments that he’s ever cooked up with adidas.
Stüssy x Converse Chuck 70 Hi/One Star
Why You Should Cop: Stüssy and Converse’s latest two-piece capsule is slated to receive its second drop this week. The collection features beach-ready, hemp-infused Chuck 70 Hi’s and One Star iterations, both of which are styled with black uppers and white star embellishments that are embroidered into the base. After releasing exclusively through Stüssy, the kicks will see official drops via Converse this week.
Nike Dunk Low “Barbershop”
Why You Should Cop: Nike is paying its respects to all of the hard-working barbers out there this week with special Dunk Low “Barbershop” colorways. The shoes are replete with playful details such as the red, blue and white rope trimming which are emblematic of a shop’s rotating pole, patterned heel overlays that likely mimic an intricate haircut, and comb-shaped lace dubraes. Two colorways including a gray and blue and a black and blue are in line to drop.
